Baby Sweater (2 classes)



This classic baby cardigan is available in sizes 0-6 months (12 months, 18 months, 2T, 3T, 5)

Sweater size is up to 6 months.


This class meets online via Zoom. A minimum of three registrants is needed to hold the class. Be sure to read our Class Policies before registering.

Sizes: 
0-6 months (12 months, 18 months, 2T, 3T, 5) These roughly translate to a child’s chest size of 17 (18, 19, 21, 22, 24) inches.

Materials

yarn
1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) of Worsted at approximately 210 yards a skein.

gauge: 

19 stitches to 4 inches in stockinette

needles and notions: 
US 7, 24" needles or size needed to obtain gauge
tapestry needle
3 small buttons
4-6 stitch markers

Pattern: 
in threes: a baby cardigan by Kelly Herdrich (purchase through Ravelry or in-person at FingerPlay Studio)

Requirements: We ask that you use yarn and products purchased from FingerPlay Studio for our classes. To make this affordable we offer a discount on materials purchased for class. When students use materials other than what is suggested we cannot assure your success. Our instructors give careful thought to which yarns and tools are best for each project. We aim to keep classes affordable. Our instructors often devote additional time outside of class time to develop curriculum and offer support. We need our community to shop with us so we can continue to share our experience and provide a loving community. Help us keep this fun!
Instructor: Sharon Schatz
Instructor Bio: Sharon taught herself to crochet and sew while living near the Vogue Fabrics store in Illinois. Knitting came later when she connected with a church group making prayer shawls. Sharon was an artist-in-residence for the Healing Arts Program, at Presbyterian St. Luke?s Hospital in Denver where she taught basic hat knitting and 2D wet felting to moms with high risk pregnancies. Sharon is also a registered Landscape Architect who enjoys adventures with her family, including cliff jumping.
