This project is appropriate for all levels. Full support is offered for every step. 

This crochet along will be held online in the evening.

Kits are now available for pre-order. 
You will also need: Crochet Hooks 3.5 mm US size E and 4 mm US size G

Each kit includes 11 colors and 17 skeins.  
Please note that we have done our best to estimate yardage. Since we are not using the yarn used in the original pattern, estimates may not be 100% accurate. You may have yarn left over. Some people may even run out of some colors. If this happens we can get more yarn, or you may be able to play with the color scheme. 

About the yarn: 
We have chosen Universal Deluxe DK for the medium size blanket. Finished size is 4.7" x 4.7" 
Deluxe is a superwash 100% wool. Wool is best for a long lasting and comfortable blanket. Unlike acrylic blankets this yarn will not stiffen or become crunchy over time and can be a lasting heirloom. While the original Sophie's Universe was created with a cotton blend, this wool yarn will not be as heavy. Wool is also easier for beginners to use.
