Brioche Basics
Brioche knitting is everywhere for good reason. It's beautiful and intriguing.
If you've been curious about the Brioche Knitting technique this class is for you.
It's also a great primer for our upcoming classes in Vintage Prim and Baubles, both designed by Andrea Mowry.
In this class we will make swatches and cover basic 2-color flat Brioche, increases and decreases.
Things you will need:
1) Small amounts of worsted weight yarn--scraps are okay! Be sure that you choose two very high contrast colors: 1 dark color, 1 light color--this is important!
2) Two US size 6 Double Pointed Needes OR one US size 6 circular needle minimum length 24"--we will NOT be knitting in the round, but you cannot use traditional fixed needles.
3) A couple of locking stitch markers
Note that we are not making a project. This is a practice piece.
This class is held live online and you may participate no matter where you are.
