The classic herringbone hat, updated. Crisp ribs extend from the band, and etch a beautiful geometric design that ends in sharp crown decreases. Knit it as a slightly slouchy cap, or as a more fitted beanie. Finish with a pompom, or not, and enjoy every minute you spend making this quick and easy hat.

| Instructor Bio: | Sharon taught herself to crochet and sew while living near the Vogue Fabrics store in Illinois. Knitting came later when she connected with a church group making prayer shawls. Sharon was an artist-in-residence for the Healing Arts Program, at Presbyterian St. Luke?s Hospital in Denver where she taught basic hat knitting and 2D wet felting to moms with high risk pregnancies. Sharon is also a registered Landscape Architect who enjoys adventures with her family, including cliff jumping. |
