Skill Builder: Buttonbands & Buttonholes

Well executed buttonbands and buttonholes make all the difference in your finished piece. 
In this workshop we will practice how to pickup stitches for your buttonband and how to create sturdy right-sized button holes.  

After class feel free to stay for Open Studio.

You will need to bring:
- A four inch high stockinette (knit front side, purl back side) swatch that will act as your sweater panel. It should be 20-25 sts wide. Knit with worsted weight yarn in a light color.

Instructor: Celeste
Instructor Bio: Celeste learned to knit at school in 3rd grade. She was immediately attached to yarn and her mother worried that she spent too many hours in her room with pointy sticks. Over the years she has made many mistakes and pretty things. Her family calls her "The Great Untangler" for her superpower of removing knots from nearly anything.
