Returns
Yarn that retains its original label and has not been wound or opened may be exchanged or returned for store credit with a receipt up 60 days after purchase.
Needles & Notions: Are not returnable.
Sale items are not returnable.
Classes
Come meet other crafters and learn from our talented teachers in a bright and comfortable setting.
Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register online – just click on the date and time of the session you’d like to take – or by calling us at (303) 604-4374 or by coming into the Studio. Full payment is needed to reserve your space.
PRIVATE & GROUP INSTRUCTION
Group lessons are scheduled and priced accordingly. Private, semi-private and private parties are available.
Private Lesson—$40 per hour or $20 for ½ hour
Semi-Private Lesson—$25 per person, per hour, minimum 1 hour
Party— $25 per person (1 to 5 people), $20 per person (6 to 10 people). Parties are 2 hours long.
Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
MINIMUM STUDENTS
A minimum of three students are needed to hold a class. This is a courtesy to our instructors. Online class registration closes three days before the date of the class. After that time please call to inquire about class availability.
PARTICIPANT AGES
Unless otherwise specified, children’s classes are for ages 8 to 12, adult classes are for ages 13+.
CANCELLATION
Please notify the Studio of your changed plans 3 days in advance to receive store credit for your class fee or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund. Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.
OPEN STUDIO
This time is open to all adults to enjoy craft and community. This is not a time for help from FingerPlay staff. It may not be appropriate to bring along children.
MAKE ALONGS
Make Alongs are events organized around a project, usually a specific pattern. Everyone works at their own pace. While Make Alongs (a.k.a. Knit Along, Crochet Along) are not classes there may be supporting classes in conjunction with the Make Along. Additional Open Studio sessions may be scheduled to support the Make Along. Anyone can participate in the Make Along. Generally Make Alongs are free to participate when you purchase yarn from FingerPlay Studio. If using yarn purchased elsewhere we may require a fee to receive support and participate in the Make Along activities.
Services
HELP
We are always happy to offer help, especially to students of FingerPlay Studio classes or those using materials purchased at FingerPlay Studio. Please understand that if you drop by for help we may be busy assisting other customers and will attend to you as possible. To ensure that you receive the assistance you need, we recommend calling first. Note if you require more than 10 minutes of assistance or your project uses yarn NOT purchased at FingerPlay Studio or we may request a nominal fee.
BALL WINDING
Receive complimentary winding for all yarns purchased at FingerPlay Studio. Yarns purchased elsewhere will be wound for $2.00 per ball. If you need several skeins wound, please allow additional time and consider picking your yarn up later.
SPECIAL ORDERS
Special orders may be made for yarns that we currently carry and must be approved by FingerPlay Studio management. We request a 50% deposit. If circumstances beyond our control (i.e., out of stock, discontinued) occur after your order is placed. You may receive a cash refund for the deposit. Additional shipping charges will be applied to special orders.
HOLDS
Items can be put on hold for a maximum of 2 business days.
REPAIRS
Repair work is offered at $40 per hour. Estimates are given based on project, materials, etc. Items damaged by moths will not be accepted.
