Cables look impressive and are so much fun that they work up quickly. 

Materials
Yarn: 220 yds worsted weight
Needles: US 5 Double Pointed (we recommend using wood needles for less slip)
Pattern: Wood Hollow Mittens by Kirsten Kapur

Requirements: BASIC SKILLS REQUIRED: Must know how to cast-on, knit, purl. This class is not for first-timers. We ask that you use yarn and products purchased from FingerPlay Studio for our classes. To make this affordable we offer a discount on materials purchased for class. When students use materials other than what is suggested we cannot assure your success. Our instructors give careful thought to which yarns and tools are best for each project. We aim to keep classes affordable. Our instructors often devote additional time outside of class time to develop curriculum and offer support. We need our community to shop with us so we can continue to share our experience and provide a loving community. Help us keep this fun!
Instructor: Sharon Schatz
Instructor Bio: Sharon taught herself to crochet and sew while living near the Vogue Fabrics store in Illinois. Knitting came later when she connected with a church group making prayer shawls. Sharon was an artist-in-residence for the Healing Arts Program, at Presbyterian St. Luke?s Hospital in Denver where she taught basic hat knitting and 2D wet felting to moms with high risk pregnancies. Sharon is also a registered Landscape Architect who enjoys adventures with her family, including cliff jumping.
