Downtown Line Shawl
This beautiful two color striped shawl is made using garter stitch (knit all stitches) for a squishy feel. The shape is made with simple short-rows.
This project is appropriate for advanced beginners.
The Downtown Line pulls together bold stripes in a very wearable crescent shape.

In this class you will:
-learn wrap and turn short rows
-review other short row techniques
-learn to manage pattern repeats

2 contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn
US 4 knitting needles

| Instructor Bio: | Sharon taught herself to crochet and sew while living near the Vogue Fabrics store in Illinois. Knitting came later when she connected with a church group making prayer shawls. Sharon was an artist-in-residence for the Healing Arts Program, at Presbyterian St. Luke?s Hospital in Denver where she taught basic hat knitting and 2D wet felting to moms with high risk pregnancies. Sharon is also a registered Landscape Architect who enjoys adventures with her family, including cliff jumping. |
