Beginner Crochet Shawl
This design is meant to be fun and just a little challenging. The pattern includes written instructions as well as a color coded chart.
Play with Color
You could use several different colors, variegated yarns, or solid colors.
Play with Weight
This generous pattern is written for worsted weight. For a lighter shawl try DK.
Play with Fiber
Try cotton, wool or a blend.
Play with Embellishments
How about tassels or fringe or neither.

Materials:
Approximate 660 yards worsted or DK for a span of 70 inches. Using thinner yarn will result in a smaller shawl.
Hook size to coordinate with yarn.
