Dunedrifter Knit Top



This light and breezy t-shirt is a perfect knit for summer into fall. It is a light and breezy top that has a very unique construction with a small amount of lace detail to keep you intrigued the entire knit. This top is knit both in the round and flat to avoid lots of seaming.

You will Discover:

What you will need:

Pattern:

Dunedrifter by Wool & Pine. Available through FingerPlay Studio or Ravelry 

Needles:

Small circumference knitting needles

32 in Needle

Both in a size 4 or size to obtain gauge

Yarn:

Our studio sample was knit using Skipper by Kelbourne Woolens.
Fingering or light sport weight yarn in the following requirements for each bust size

Bust: 33 (36, 39, 42, 45, 48)(51, 54, 57, 60, 63, 66)“

           84 (91, 99, 107, 114, 122)(130, 137, 145, 152, 160, 168)cm


Yarn: 570 (620,680, 720,770,840, 880)(940, 1000, 1060, 1120, 1220) yards

          525 (570, 622, 660, 705, 770, 805)(860, 915, 970, 1024, 1160) meters

Other notions:

Scrap Yarn

Stitch holders or spare cables

A Crochet hook of similar size to you needles

3 Stitch markers one of which is locking 

Before the First Class:

Please read through the pattern and watch the first video provided with the pattern called construction overview. Also please swatch and bring it with you to the first class as we will be discussing sizing and construction.

Note: This class meets 5 times with time in-between for knitting. We encourage class students to attend any Open Studio to work on their project between classes. 

Please read our class Policies before registering. A minimum of 3 participants is required to hold this class. Please encourage a friend to attend with you--it's more fun that way!


Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Must know how to cast-on, knit and purl.

We aim to keep classes affordable. Our instructors often devote additional time outside of class time to develop curriculum and offer support.
