Embroidery on Knits
We've been inspired by Judit Gummlich's gorgeous book Embroidery on Knits and we know you have been too. Now let's practice incorporated Judith's techniques onto knitted pieces.
This workshop will be your chance to play. Bring a few swatches and or a sweater (could even be store bought) to play with tools, materials and designs.
Remember this is play. You will be learning. Don't put too much pressure on yourself to be perfect.
We'll work with Judit's design templates and maybe some stick n'stab templates.
Class will include:
- up to 5 colors of Eco Vita embroidery yarn (may not be a complete skein),
- a bit of DMC magic paper
- use of hoops, needles and any other necessary items.
You just need to bring knitted fabric.
