Woodlark Shawl KAL

Join us for the cast-on of the Woodlark Shawl Knit Along — a cozy start to the new year.
The Woodlark Shawl is the creation of FiberTales designer Lærke. FiberTales is inspired by nature and folk lore. Each of her designs strives to tell a story through design and fibers.
We’ve partnered with local yarn dyer Viking Fiber Co featuring beautiful non-superwash yarn in enchanting colors. Viking Fiber Company proudly uses Shaniko RWS Certified Fine Wool in their exclusive non-superwash yarns. This wool represents the best of the American wool industry; paying ranchers a premium, ensuring animal welfare, protecting the land, and providing full traceability from ranch to finished skein. Traceable, Ethical, American
Shaniko Wool Company is transforming how American wool is grown and valued. As the first U.S. supplier certified under the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), Shaniko champions transparency, regenerative practices, and long-term sustainability across its ranch network. Every skein supports a supply chain rooted in integrity, from the land and animals to the artisans who create with it.
Viking Fiber Company’s non-superwash Shaniko blends bring this incredible American fiber to your hands.
Kyle, the dye artist behind Viking Fiber Company, will be with us, bringing his thoughtfully curated palette made for the Woodlark Shawl. You’ll get to meet the maker, ask questions, and pick a lovely color combination.
This pairing of the Woodlark Shawl and Viking Fiber Company yarns will bring cozy warmth as you knit through the winter months.
