Child's Poncho

Pippi Poncho is a practical poncho that is perfect for keeping the upper body warm and cozy on a chilly day. The poncho can be worn as an outer garment as well as being suitable for indoor use.
Pippi Poncho is worked from the bottom up, beginning flat, body is knit in the round, then flat again for the neckline. The bottom hem is curved with splits in each side, while the body has graphic colorwork stripes that are worked using the Fair Isle technique. Folded ribbed edges finish the armholes and neckline.

US 8 (5mm) and US 10 (6mm) needles
