Learn to Knit More
This class is perfect for beginning knitters. Maybe you've taken our Learn to Knit class. Or you taught yourself from YouTube. Or, you've been using basic skills for quite a while. Maybe you've made a few Sofie scarves.
This small project is a great next step. You'll work on purling, increasing, reading your stitches and navigating a pattern.
We'll use the Scarf No. 1 pattern by My Favorite Things. Available from the designer.
The pattern includes two sizes: bandana or shawlette scarf.
You'll need just one skein of DK weight yarn. The two different sizes require the same amount of yarn. Why not treat yourself to some Cardiff Cashmere?
Needle size is US 4., we recommend 24" length.
A minimum of 4 students is needed for this class. Encourage a friend to attend with you--it's more fun that way!

| Requirements: | We ask that you use yarn and products purchased from FingerPlay Studio for our classes. When students use materials other than what is suggested we cannot assure your success. Our instructors give careful thought to which yarns and tools are best for each project. We aim to keep classes affordable. Our instructors often devote additional time outside of class time to develop curriculum and offer support. We need our community to shop with us so we can continue to share our experience and provide a loving community. Help us keep this fun! |
