Ranuculus Top
The Ranunculus is a nice pattern for a nice summer top. So, what has been the hype about this sweater for so many years? It was published in 2017 and has over 37,000 projects on Ravelry. That's because this remarkable pattern because is a bit more like a recipe in that it encourages you to play with the ingredients (materials) to attain different results. It's also a terrific study of...now don't be scared--gauge. Use nearly any yarn you wish, keep the needle size the same and you'll still have a beautiful piece though with either an airy romantic feel or sweet summer top or oversized comfy winter pullover. To further customize the look you can adjust the sleeve length and the cuff style.
Beyond changing the look of the garment this pattern, is easy to follow and offers a lot of learning: short rows, lace, and sweater construction.

long sleeve:

Short sleeve:

NEEDLS
6 mm [US 10] circular needle as main needle. (24" and 32" or 40" length)
5 mm [US 8] needle for hem ribbing and finishing sleeve. (32" or 40 length, plus Double Pointed Needles or use your long needle to magic loop.
NOTIONS
